Three Things.

I know, I know!  It has been awhile since my last three things posting.  We are just now getting back to a semi-normal home (for us)… but found out that in addition to buying more baseboard to finish the hardwood flooring portion of our mini-remodel, we need to buy a new hot water heater.  Lovely.  But we’re moving on… and this week’s “Three Things” post is all about our home, of course.

{The Return of our Denim Sectional}

This was probably the most exciting moment for me; when we were able to bring in our couch from the garage.  Although we still have to work on our baseboard and replace outlets, it makes our living room feel so much more homey to have the couch, rug, and ottoman back in place.

{A Make-Sift Kitchen Island}

While we work on determining what kind of kitchen island we want, I’ve decided to use my antique sewing table as a temporary kitchen island.  We can’t decide on what type of island we would like, but are leaning more towards a table-like island that can be moved – due to our kitchen size.

{Hemnes Glass Door Cabinet from Ikea}

Although this cabinet will be ultimately moved into our kitchen (next to the dishwasher’s new home), I love the look and have decided that the wall in the picture above (the infamous wall we wanted removed) will soon feature a built-in/bookcase/storage system unit.  Can’t wait!
