22 months (1 year, 10 months)

Dear Kingston,

Yesterday you turned 22 months… or one year, ten months old.  You are officially in your “big boy” room now and doing so well (room tour to come).  You sleep in your twin bed (no toddler bed for you, my sweet boy) and are still sleeping through the night.  You seem to have flipped a switch from baby/toddler to kid in a blink of an eye.  You love to meet me after work, climb into my car, and drive around our neighborhood (on my lap, of course).  You swim!!  You can swim, without flotation device, from the steps in your mimi and papa’s pool to your daddy; approximately six feet.  You are still one of the pickiest little eaters I know – only eating what you want, and when you want (out of the food we offer you).  You wear an 8.5 wide shoe, according to Stride Rite… big feet.  You had your first official hair cut (first cut was a barely a trim), and look pretty darn cute.  You are OBSESSED with your penguin pillow pet… daddy is a little worried about this.  You are fascinated with learning; you pay full attention when we read books to you and talk about every picture.  Probably best of all: you love to give hugs and kisses to all of your family members (i.e. grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, etc.) when you say goodbye.

Kingston, I love you with all my heart.

Love,
Momma
