Kingston’s no good, very bad, day.

Oh Kingston, you are so cute while playing patiently with your Lego’s.  Too bad today was officially your worst, no good, very bad day.

Today was his day of testing momma’s limits… and showing momma what a true toddler in his terrible twos looks like.  Running from momma on our morning walk, trying to re-decorate (and possibly destroy) our Christmas tree, unwrapping a present or two under the tree (which he has ignored until today), throwing toys in frustration (and even a little water at momma), going poo during his nap and subsequently removing said diaper and re-decorating his bedroom… let’s just say the boy experienced a lot of no’s, time out’s, and punishments today.

While it was a rough day, I definitely learned a lot from the experience… about my son and even myself as a parent.  I’d like to think Kingston learned a few things as well.  And don’t get me wrong, Kingston is a wonderful toddler – he just was having a normal, toddler day so I hear.

Oh, and I am happy to say we are ending the evening on a much better note.  Time for this momma to have some much-needed relaxation…
