Visiting Santa Claus.

Remember our experience last year?  Well, my friends, let me tell you… Kingston was a sitting-on-Santa’s-lap CHAMP this year.  Now, it didn’t come naturally/all on his own; the hubs and I have been spending the past week or so getting him excited for our visit.  We made sure to talk Santa up, explain that Santa brings toys, and even show Kingston a picture of himself successfully sitting on Santa’s lap in 2010.  We trained our boy for game day… and it definitely worked.

We went to see Santa this past Sunday.  Upon arrival, Kingston’s first duty was to make sure to write a wish list for Santa.  With a little help from dad, he accomplished this task with ease.

Next step?  Pose in silly cut-outs for mom and nana.

Then be sure to check out Santa’s sleigh and vintage airplane & car.  Be impressed… especially if you’re 5 months old.

And then it is game time.  Spot Santa and get ready for picture overload (i.e. mom, nana, and employee photo sesh).

And that’s how it’s done.  But… we still need a few of you and your brother together with jolly old St. Nick…

It’s okay that you stood next to him instead of sitting on him again, Kingston.  But thank you for the “really, more pictures mom?” brow.

Admire giant gingerbread house and the remaining decor and our 2012 Santa trip was a success!

Kingston is at such a fun age this year… oh, and by the way – this little 3-year-old is hoping that he will get some knights from Santa, as “knights…my favorite” is what we always hear when we ask Kingston what he wants Santa to bring him…
